When Jason Marhofer learned that he had finished his requirements to reach Eagle Scout, he knew he was just following a family tradition.

Both of Marhofer's older brothers took their scouting careers to the highest level, so it was generally assumed when he joined boy scouts at age 12 that he would do the same.
